A softer side.

Next month I will help open a new store in Kansas City, Soft Surroundings. Scott and I drove to St. Louis to see the absolutely beautiful store at the St. Louis Galleria. It was incredible to observe an established store and see upfront the products we will sell. ALTHOUGH, the St. Louis store is a MUCH bigger store than we will have here on The Plaza.

There were so many little details. As you can tell from the pictures, I adore small books – and I’m very excited that we’ll be selling them at our store.

The wall colors…
The perfect vignettes…
The make-up section…
The white hangars…
The funky jewelry…
The bedding…
The silks and cottons and linens…
The home furnishings…

So, so, SO good.

And most importantly, the store was p.a.c.k.e.d with customers!! And that’s a really GREAT thing!

Here are a few pictures from the St. Louis store. Grab a cup of coffee…
